The 20-Miler (in 5 mile increments)

Mile 0 - all smiles and ready for the run:
Mile 5 - downing the first Honey Stinger energy gel:
Mile 10 - The sun is still shining - what a great day for a run:
Mile 15 - Five more to go and Debo is no longer in the picture...uh-oh:
Mile 20 - Yay! Peace sign/20 mile signifier as the sun sets in the background:
Time to go home and soak my feet in ice so that they fit into dress shoes for work tomorrow!

I love the pictures! You're hilarious, Megan. The 15 miler photo was the best. You look so lonesome and depressed. Did you run the 5 mile loops at North Park?

Amber - yeah, we ran them at North Park. I always thought that the multiple loop thing was boring, but we've done it a few times this training season and I've really liked it. Its great because there are plenty of bathrooms/drinking fountains and you can swing by your car, so you don't have to carry energy gels or extra clothing or whatever.

That is definitely an added bonus...and always knowing where you are. Do you like the honey stinger? I think it's ok...sometimes it crystalizes and gets nasty.

Hmmm...I haven't gotten any crystallized honey stingers...it doesn't make me gag as much as gu and power gel.
