Lisa and I are carefully mixing the brew. It is a strict one bottle of concentration to 5 gallons of water. And by "strict" they mean that a Gatorade rep comes around to test your mix to make sure you are doing it correctly. Nathan and Osei had a drive-by audit of their brew!
Standing proud next to four tiers of lemon-lime Gatorade!
We quickly discovered that the newbies are the ones who get stuck w/ the Gatorade duty. What a sticky mess. Don't know if I'll be able to stomach lemon-lime Gatorade for a little while.
Do you see the fluorescent yellow glow bouncing off of Nathan's face?
[More photos to come...there are so many great ones to post up here!]

Hey! Nice photos! Hydration Station - very cachy. Did you guys get to keep those coats? Were they for volunteers or did you buy them? How cool! I bet it was fun. :) Who is Osei?

Yeah, the jackets were given to all volunteers...they are quite nice, though there is no zipper guard and Lisa's neck was a little chafed...I suppose you will have chaffage when you are committed to marathons! Osei was Nathan's Gatorade buddy. We had that oh-so-common-GCC-moment of realizing how we knew each other through one GCC connection. (His roommate last year was JK Parke, an 05 grad that I know of; JK also ran the marathon.)
